Parents!  Become a Substitute and Help Us Support and Bring Back Our Students

The District is reaching out to our students’ parents and families to apply to become substitute teachers at both school sites: Ormondale School (TK-3), and Corte Madera School (4-8). The ideal applicant must be a skilled organizer and collaborator, with classroom teaching experience.

Board Meeting Information
UPDATE, November 2021

Beginning with the November 18, 2021 regular meeting, Board meetings will once again be open to the public. Prior to any final action being taken on any topic or prior to moving to a new topic, members of the public may address the Board in person on the topic under consideration. Anyone who wishes to view/listen to the meeting live must use the link(s)provided in each meeting agenda. Questions and comments will not be taken virtually, but may be sent directly to the Board via email:, and will be considered offline.

All open session meetings of the Governing Board of the Portola Valley School District are electronically recorded. Recordings will continue to be posted on the BoardDocs Library General page, per District policy.To view current and past board agendas, or listen to the audio recording of the most recent meeting, click HERE, then navigate to "LIBRARY." 

The PVSD uses BoardDocs which allows the District to maximize the effectiveness of its Board meetings, and public access to meeting Minutes, Agendas, and Policies in an effort to increase transparency and provide easier access to information.
