Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee

"The purpose of the citizens' oversight committee shall be to inform the public concerning the expenditure of bond revenues. The citizens' oversight committee shall actively review and report on the proper expenditure of taxpayers' money for school construction." California Education Code § 15278(b)

The Portola Valley School District is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee which will serve as the Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) for the District’s Measure Z, $49.5 million, school facilities bond program that was approved by the voters on November 6, 2018.
 
If you wish to serve on this important committee, please review the Committee Bylaws for more information about the Committee’s role and responsibilities and then complete the CBOC application. Please send your completed application to the Superintendent’s Office of the Portola Valley School District by mail, hand delivery, or email by 3:30 PM on February 15, 2019. Applicants who are selected for an interview will be notified by email and should be available for an interview on March 7, 2019.
