Pre-Registration for SY 2024-25

Open Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins January 23, 2024.

Pre-registration for TK - 8th Grade for the 2024-25 school year is open, and set up to easily complete online.  

There are a number of key steps to complete in order so that your students' registration can be processed efficiently. Please be sure to follow the steps outlined below. You will receive automated reminders throughout the registration process to help walk you through the process and ensure that all steps are completed.

Step 1 - Registration Initiation

  1. Complete and submit the Address Verification (Pre-registration) form online through PowerSchool. You will fill out a short form with your name, child's name and grade level for the 2024-25 school year, as well as your address.
    • To be eligible to register for Transitional Kindergarten, a child must turn four (4) on or before September 1, 2024.

    • To be eligible to register for Kindergarten, a child must turn five (5) on or before September 1, 2024.

  2. District staff will verify your address is in the PVSD attendance area and send an email with a link to the registration portal.

Step 2 - Complete Registration Forms in PowerSchool

  1. Using the information provided in the email, setup your profile in the registration portal.
  2. Complete all the registration forms in PowerSchool under "Forms" > "Registration".

*Note: You will receive automatic notifications of items that are outstanding every few days throughout this process.

Step 3 - Bring in hard copy of required documents

  1. Once all your online forms are complete, you will need to bring in physical copies of each of the required forms and documents to the school which each student will be attending. A matrix with the required documents is shown below.

TK - 3rd Grade students: Ormondale School - 200 Shawnee Pass, Portola Valley, Ca 94028

4th - 8th Grade students: Corte Madera School - 4575 Alpine Road, Portola Valley, Ca 94028

Your child will not be registered until we receive your COMPLETE registration package, including proof of all required immunizations.
