Current jobs openings, including substitute teaching positions, are listed on EdJoin.
Basic application guidelines are as follows: 

For Certificated Teaching Positions:
  • Cover letter and resume
  • Completed online EdJoin application.
  • Three current letters of recommendation, including at least one letter regarding most recent teaching experience.
  • Indication of current CA State teaching credential, as applicable, for the desired position.
  • Proof of CLAD/CTEL or comparable EL authorization, if not embedded in teaching credential.
    Original, official transcripts will be required, if hired, for placement on the PVSD certificated salary schedule.
For Certificated Substitute Teachers
  • Current resume, including at least one letter regarding most recent teaching experience.
  • Completed online EdJoin application.
  • Proof of current CA State teaching credential, 30-Day Emergency Substitute Permit, minimum.
For Classified Staff Positions:
  • Cover letter and resume
  • Completed online EdJoin application.
  • Up to three current letters of recommendation, including at least one letter regarding most recent professional experience.
