November 6, 2018 Election Day. Measure Z Bond Passed with 62.3% Approval.
November 7, 2018 Advertised a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for In-House Bond and Facilities Director as well as Program / Construction Management Firms.
November 8, 2018 Advertised a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural Services.
November 19, 2018 Conducted Mandatory pre-submittal conference and site visit for potential Architects. 17 firms were present.
December 4 , 2018 District received nine (9) applications for the Director of Facilities and Bond position and received eight (8) RFQ responses from Program / Construction Management Firms.
December 10, 2018 Panel participants screened all Program / Construction Management Firms. Five (5) firms were interviewed and RGM/Kramer Development was selected.
December 12, 2018 Panel participants screened all applications for the Director of Facilities & Bond position and chose three (3) candidates to be interviewed. Adam Lint was selected.
December 12, 2018 Eight (8) complete Architectural Services RFQ responses were received.
January 8, 2019 Panel participants screened all RFQ responses for Architectural Services and Four (4) Architectural Firms were interviewed. A pool of two (2) firms was selected. Cody Anderson Wasney Architects (CAW) and Sugimura Finney / DLR Group were selected.
January 16, 2019 Board of Trustees approved Adam Lint to be the Director of Bond Projects and Facilities.
February 6, 2019 Board of Trustees approved pool of Architects. Board approved “Timeline B” (sell $10 Million of the MZB immediately and the remaining $39.5 Million in Q1 of 2020). Board Adopted Resolution #03-2019 Authorizing issuance of Election of 2018 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2019A. Board approved Independent Auditor Firm for District’s Financial Statement and the Bond Performance Audit for Fiscal Year 2018-2019.
March 21, 2019 Negotiate Architectural Services Agreement with Cody Anderson Wasney Architects for the CMS two Story Classroom Building & Courtyard Renovations and ORM Classroom Building & Courtyard Renovations Projects.
March 6, 2019 Board approved Carroll Engineering to perform and supply topographic surveys, record boundary surveys and underground utility surveying. Board approved the contract with Orbach Huff Suarez + Henderson, LLP for various construction legal services.
March 7, 2019 Conducted interviews for Citizen Bond Oversight Committee.
March 27, 2019 Conduct first Construction Committee Meeting at Ormondale School. Committee is compiled of parents, teachers, School Principal, Brent McClure or CAW and Adam Lint. During this meeting we investigated the buildings program as and how this works with the rest of the school.
March 27, 2019 Final Architectural Services Agreement with Cody Anderson Wasney (CAW) for the design of the CMS two Story Classroom Building & Courtyard Renovations and ORM Classroom Building & Courtyard Renovations to be approved by the Board. Cleary Consultants to be approved by the Board to conduct Geotechnical and Geological Hazard Investigations at CMS and ORM.
March 28, 2019 Conduct first Construction Committee Meeting at Corte Madera School. Committee is compiled of parents, teachers, School Principal, Brent McClure or CAW and Adam Lint. During this meeting we investigated the buildings program as and how this works with the rest of the school.
April 16, 2019 Second Construction Committee Meeting at Ormondale School. The committee was shown design concepts based on the prior meetings discussion of building program and use. The concepts that were shown were all different and prompted in depth discussions on the uses of space and room adjacencies.
April 23, 2019 Second Principals Construction Progress Committee Meeting at Corte Madera School. The committee was shown design concepts based on the prior meetings discussion of building program and use. The concepts that were shown were all different and prompted in depth discussions on the uses of space and room adjacencies. These designs also showed options for a smaller two story building with a secondary single story to round out the 4th/5th grade side of the cam
April 26, 2019 The two Principals Construction Progress Committees visited three neighboring school sites to see the various 21st century learning spaces that have been constructed within the last few years. The sites visited were Woodside Elementary, La Entrada Middle School and Laurel School - Upper Campus. The committee members were able to talk to the teachers that use the spaces to get first hand knowledge of what worked, what did not work and what they would change about the spaces.
May 7, 2019 Third Principals Construction Progress Committee Meeting at Corte Madera School. The committee reviewed the site tours and discussed aspects that stood out during the visits. The majority of this meeting was focused on the outside and courtyard spaces. The meeting was attended by the project Landscape Architect, who guided the conversation.

May 15, 2019 Rick Kramer with RGM & Associates, the Construction Manager gave a presentation to the Board about the proposed project delivery methods and their address an questions regarding their construction management contract.
May 15, 2019 Adam Lint, the Director of Bond and Facilities for the District gave presentation to the Board about the upcoming construction projects scheduled to take place over the summer.
June 5, 2019 Brent McClure with Cody Anderson Wasney Architects presented to the Board an update on the conceptual design of the two signature projects at each site. This presentation conveyed the steps and collaboration efforts from the multiple meetings with site staff, parents and community members. It showed the culmination of all these efforts taking the intent of the master plan to the conceptual design of the new buildings.
June 26, 2019 Adam Lint, the Director of Bond and Facilities for the District updated the Board about the projects under construction and scheduled for later in the summer.
